On May 22, 2019, the entire Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force conducted probation / parole compliance checks and saturation patrol throughout the cities of Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, and Lake Elsinore. Other participating agencies included the Regional Auto-Theft Interdiction Detail (RAID), the Riverside County Gang Impact Team (GIT), the Riverside County Probation Department (Murrieta Office), Central PACT Team, East PACT Team, Murrieta Police Department’s SET Team / Parole Probation Compliance Team, the Riverside Sheriff Department’s Temecula Station POP – HOT - SET Teams, and a Murrieta Police Department K-9.

The operation took place from 1000 – 1500 hours. A total of 40 parole / probation / Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) searches were conducted. Eighteen adults were arrested on a variety of misdemeanor and felony charges. The following 12 adults were booked into jail on the listed charges. The remaining 6 subjects not listed were released in the field on Misdemeanor citations and / or the cases will be filed and forwarded to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.

Some of the items seized during the operation included a firearm, ammunition, methamphetamine, heroin, Xanax pills, a stolen car, paraphernalia, handgun magazines, brass knuckles, and a stolen military ballistic vest taken from a recent Murrieta car burglary.
