Details:

Deputies from the San Jacinto Station conducted a Traffic Enforcement Saturation patrol on March 24, 2021 in the City of San Jacinto. The patrol targeted unsafe drivers throughout the City of San Jacinto from 07:00 am to 11:00am.

Deputies conducted 47 vehicle enforcement stops and cited 46 drivers for various traffic violations, with a focus on excessive speed. One vehicle was towed and one driver was cited for a misdemeanor warrant.

Traffic Safety Saturation patrol will continue throughout the year to help reduce the number of traffic collisions and ensure the safety of the motoring public.

Funding for this Saturation Patrol was provided by a grant from the  California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
