Details:

On Saturday, April 24, 2021, about 11:30 AM, members of the Jurupa Valley Special Enforcement Team were following up with complaints of illegal off-road vehicles and large gatherings in the hills, in the unincorporated area of Lake Hills. While driving the hills looking for off-road violators, deputies contacted 32-year-old Kevin Stevenson, a resident of Lake Elsinore. Stevenson was found to be in possession of a California non-compliant rifle (ghost gun) and a high capacity magazine. Stevenson was taken into custody and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.

The Jurupa Valley Station continuously strives to ensure the citizens of Jurupa Valley, and the unincorporated areas, live comfortably and their quality of life is unimpeded. As a reminder, "Community Policing" involves partnerships between law enforcement and community members. Business owners and residents are encouraged to report criminal activity directly to law enforcement by calling Sheriff's Dispatch at (951) 776-1099, or by calling 911 if the matter is an emergency.
