Details:
On April 29, 2021 at 12:05 P.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) conducted a traffic stop at Vista Del Norte west of Dillon Road in the city of Coachella. Deputies made contact with Alexis Valadez, 26 of Coachella, who is a convicted felon on active Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). A probation compliance check of Valadez’ vehicle was conducted. Handguns along with ammunition were located and seized. Valadez was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of unregistered firearm, possession of a concealed firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, and violation of PRCS. Valadez was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
