Details:
On May 20th, 2021, members of the Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force, with the assistance of the Corona Police Department and Riverside Police Department PACT team conducted a probation check in the 4100 block of Neece Street, Home Gardens. During the probation search, Mario Lopez, a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic firearm (Ghost gun), 244 grams of methamphetamine, as well as other items indicative of drug sales. Lopez was arrested for gun and drug related charges.
The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force is one of 6 teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force.
