Details:

On May 28, 2021 at 3:16 am, Eastvale deputies responded to the 7100 block of Rivertrails Drive, in the city of Eastvale, for a vehicle burglary in progress. When the deputies arrived, the suspects had fled the scene. Deputies searched the area and located two male suspects wearing ski masks being chased by a homeowner from a nearby street. The suspects were detained and identified as Randal Amari (18 year old resident of Los Angeles) and a 17 year old juvenile (resident of Moreno Valley).  The suspects were found to be in possession of several watches, cell phones, three backpacks, and a replica firearm. Preliminary investigation indicated the suspects were in the neighborhood stealing from unlocked vehicles. Both suspects were charged for conspiracy to commit a crime and petty theft. Amari was subsequently booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center and the juvenile was released to his parents, pending criminal charges.

The owners of the watches, cellphones and backpacks (pictured) are unknown at this time. The owners of the property or anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy Varoni at (951) 955-2600.
