On Saturday, June 19th, 2021, uniformed deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department – Perris Station, served a narcotics related search warrant at a residence in the 4000 block of Webster Avenue and Ramona Expressway in the City of Perris. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation. During the service, 200 marijuana plants and two large boxes of processed marijuana were located as evidence within an outdoor nursery. The marijuana was eradicated. A stolen vehicle, originally reported out of Fontana, was also located and recovered at the scene.
Several adult occupants were contacted and detained at the residence. The homeowner, Aurelio Gonzalez, a 55-year-old Perris City resident, was not at the scene. Related charges are being sought.
