Details:
On July 1, 2021, at 11:18 PM, Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team/Gang Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 12000 block of Perris Boulevard in Moreno Valley. The driver, Andre Simmons (34yrs) of Moreno Valley, was found to be on Parole. Simmons and the passenger, Gabriel Kinney (27yrs) of San Bernardino, were detained and a search of the vehicle was conducted. At the conclusion of the search, two loaded unregistered firearms were located inside the vehicle.

Kinney was arrested and booked for being in possession of an illegal firearm and Simmons was arrested and booked for parole violation. Both Kinney and Simmons are members of a criminal street gang.
