On Wednesday, July 7th, 2021, at 12:49 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence located in the 13000 block of Luis Drive in Desert Hot Springs. During the service of the search warrant Gang Task Force Officers located a zip gun. Gang Task Force Officers arrested convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member, Randy Omero Valle, 20 of Desert Hot Springs for Violation of Parole and Possession of a Zip Gun. Also arrested was a 17-year-old juvenile for an Outstanding Felony Arrest Warrant for Possession of a Concealed Firearm. The juvenile was booked at Juvenile Hall in Indio. Valle was booked at John Benoit Detention Center in Indio.
