On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 7:15 A.M., personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department assigned to the Cabazon Station, served a marijuana cultivation related search warrant in the 49400 block of Dolores Ave, in the unincorporated community of Cabazon. During the service of the warrant, a total of 525 marijuana plants were eradicated. No suspects were located.
The goal of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is to keep all our citizens safe while also improving the quality of life for those residing within the community. Marijuana cultivation negatively impacts the environment in many ways, including diminishing and poisoning the water table and pesticides adversely affecting the health of neighboring residents.
