Details:

On August 17, 2021, at 10:20 am, School Resource Officers from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station received a report of a student on the campus of Moreno Valley High School armed with a firearm. During the investigation, School Resource Officers located a 15-year-old student in possession of a loaded handgun. School Resource Officers worked in conjunction with school administration and security to ensure the campus was safe for its student body and staff. The 15-year-old student was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall for possessing a loaded firearm on campus.
