On Wednesday, September 8, 2021, about 9:59 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department - Perris Station responded to a major injury traffic collision near the intersection of Indian Ave. and Markham Street in the city of Perris. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a collision involving a 2016 black Chrysler 300 and a 2000 black Honda Accord.
The driver of Chrysler suffered major injuries. Life saving measures were attempted; however, the driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital. It is unknown if alcohol and or drugs are a factor in this collision. The identity of the involved parties is not being released at this time. The collision is still under investigation by the Perris Station Traffic Bureau.
