Details:
On October 1, 2021, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of multiple counts of sexual assault against a child. After an extensive investigation, the suspect was identified as Selvin Garcia-Yax, 45 years old, a resident of Lake Elsinore. Garcia-Yax was eventually transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked on multiple charges of Sexual Assault of a Child. His bail is set at $1,000,000.
