Details:

On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 12:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a search warrant at a residence located in the 74000 block of El Cortez Way in Palm Desert. During the service of the search warrant Gang Task Force Officers located several hundred suspected fentanyl pills as well as suspected methamphetamine and cocaine. Gang Task Force Officers located items indicative of illegal narcotics sales and seized approximately $14,000.00 in cash. Convicted felon Jeramey Payne, 28 of Palm Desert was arrested for Possession of Narcotics for Sales and Violation of State Parole. Payne was subsequently booked at John Benoit Detention Center in Indio.
