The victim has been identified as Edward V. Snyder, 47-year-old of Palm Desert and next of kin has been notified. Details:
On November 11, 2021, at 10:21 p.m., Palm Desert Station deputies responded to the 43000 block of Tennessee Ave., reference several gunshots heard in the area. When deputies arrived, they located a deceased male lying on the street suffering from trauma to his body consistent with a homicide. The scene was secured, and the Central Homicide Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
