Details:
On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 8:59 pm, Jurupa Valley Station deputies responded to the 5500 block of Mission Boulevard, in the city of Jurupa Valley, regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. The victim, a 45 year-old male, suffered severe injuries during the struggle with the suspect. During the investigation, Shane Nissen, a 40 year-old transient, was identified as the suspect, however, he fled the scene prior to deputies arrival. Deputies searched the surrounding neighborhoods and ultimately located Nissen in the 5500 block of 34th Street. Nissen was arrested without incident and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted murder.
