Details:

On Tuesday, February 16th, 2022, at 7:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence located in the 31000 block of Avenida Valdez in Cathedral City. During the service of the search warrant, Gang Task Force Officers located a .40 caliber semi-auto handgun. The serial numbers to the handgun had been altered and were unreadable. Gang Task Force Officers arrested convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member, Bryan Gonzalez, 28 of Cathedral City for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Violation of Parole.  Gonzalez was subsequently booked at John Benoit Detention Center in Indio.
