City of Jurupa Valley, Calif. – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department/Jurupa Valley Station will hold a Bicyclists and Pedestrian Enforcement Operation, May 11, 2022 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm within the city limits.
To help keep people biking or walking safe, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department will be conduction a traffic safety operation in the City of Jurupa Valley. The operation will focus on the most dangerous driver behaviors such as speeding, making illegal turns, failure to yield to bicyclists or pedestrians, and stop sign/red light violations.
The primary purpose of the operation is to promote public safety by reminding drivers to follow the speed limit and look out for people on bicycles and in crosswalks.
Funding for this operation is provided to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, reminding everyone to ‘Report Drunk Driver – Call 9-1-1’.
