On Friday, June 10, 2022, between the hours of 2pm and midnight, members of the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station, in partnership with the Hemet Gang Task Force, Cabazon Gang Task Force, Murrieta Gang Task Force, Perris Gang Task Force, San Jacinto Station Special Enforcement Team, Jurupa Station Special Enforcement Team, Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team, Riverside Sheriff’s K9 Team, Riverside Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau, Cois Byrd Detention Facility, Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, Cal Fire, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Parole Division, traffic teams from San Jacinto Station, Perris Station, Lake Elsinore Station, Palm Desert Station, Thermal Station conducted a Parole and Probation Compliance Sweep/ Saturation Patrol at multiple locations within the San Jacinto Valley, which is comprised of the cities of San Jacinto and Hemet, as well as other unincorporated communities in the area. The following are the results of the Operation:
- 25 felony arrests.
- 50 misdemeanor arrests.
- Firearm.
- Several rounds of live ammunition.
- Over 1 pound of methamphetamine.
- Over $4,000 in Asset Forfeiture.
- Recovered Stolen Vehicle.
- 115 traffic citations.
- 14 vehicles towed and stored
- 2 DUI arrests.
- 32 parking violations
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is committed to creating safe and secure neighborhoods. Therefore, the San Jacinto and Hemet Sheriff’s Station will be conducting similar sweeps on an ongoing basis.
