On Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 5:00 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 Perris / Lake Elsinore conducted a vehicle stop in the 400 block of B Street, in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted Elias Delgadillo-Valtierra, a 36-year-old resident of Perris. Deputies discovered Delgadillo-Valtierra was a convicted felon and operating his vehicle without a driver’s license. Deputies requested Delgadillo-Valtierra exit his vehicle and he complied. A subsequent search of Delgadillo-Valtierra’s person revealed a loaded 9mm firearm concealed in his waistband.

A search of Delgadillo-Valtierra’s vehicle revealed five pounds of methamphetamine, one pound of fentanyl, over two pounds of cocaine, U.S. currency in various denominations, and various items indicative of narcotics sales.

Delgadillo-Valtierra was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Narcotics while Armed, Possession of Cocaine for Sale, Possession of Fentanyl for Sale, Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of Ammunition. Delgadillo-Valtierra was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
