On November 2, 2019 at 10:17 p.m., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies assigned to the city of La Quinta, responded to report of a traffic collision, wherein a vehicle struck a center median. Deputies responded to the area of 50600 Eisenhower Drive, in La Quinta where the collision occurred. Alcohol was determined to be a factor in the collision. The driver, Cescer Garcia, 31 of La Quinta was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. Garcia was booked at Indio Jail after receiving precautionary medical treatment. No other vehicles appeared to be involved in the collision. No significant injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages all drivers not to drink and drive. To report drunk drivers, please call 911.
