On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, about 12:37 AM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Jacinto Station arrived in the area of Park Avenue east of Villines Avenue in the City of San Jacinto regarding a fatal traffic collision investigation. Deputies located the body of an adult male in the eastbound lane of Park Avenue, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The preliminary investigation revealed a full size Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling east on Park Avenue and struck the male in the eastbound lane. The driver of the truck has been identified and interviewed.

The San Jacinto Station’s Collision Reconstruction Team responded and assumed the investigation. During the investigation Park Avenue was closed until about 12:00 PM. This investigation is ongoing, anyone with information regarding this collision is encouraged to contact Deputy Cox at the San Jacinto Station, 951-654-2702.
