On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force assisted State Parole in the 79000 block of Country Club Drive in Bermuda Dunes.  State Parole conducted a parole compliance check of a vehicle at the location during which time a loaded .45 caliber Colt 1911 handgun was located.  Gang Task Force Officers responded to the scene and conducted an investigation.  During the course of their investigation they determined the handgun belonged to Catie Jeffcoat, 18 of Twentynine Palms.  Jeffcoat was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm within a vehicle and transported to the Indio Jail where she was booked.
