On November 6, 2019 at 10:26 p.m., Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Deputies assigned to the city of La Quinta, responded to report of a single-vehicle traffic collision at Calle Tecate and Avenida Vallejo. The driver, Jhonatan Aceves Plascencia 18 of La Quinta was traveling westbound on Avenida Vallejo when he struck the south curb, near Calle Tecate. Alcohol was determined to be a factor in the collision. Aceves Plascencia was arrested and booked at Indio Jail after receiving precautionary medical treatment. No other vehicles appeared to be involved in the collision. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department encourages all drivers not to drink and drive. To report drunk drivers, please call 911.
