On November 4, 2019, La Quinta deputies responded to the 48600 block of Classic Drive, regarding a possible burglary in progress. The deputies arrived on scene and the suspect fled from a second story balcony. The La Quinta Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation. A three-hour search was conducted with the assistance of K9 units and an air unit, however the suspect was not located. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, in his late thirties with tattoos on his face, neck and arms, wearing dark colored clothing. An additional suspect, Shane Wynn, 25-years-old of Palm Desert was located attempting to return to the residence. A search warrant was authored and served at the affected residence. Credit card making equipment, along with fraudulent credit cards were located and seized. Wynn was booked at the county jail in Indio on an unrelated identity theft warrant out of the State of Colorado.
