The deputies arrived on scene and the suspect fled from a second story balcony. The La Quinta Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation. A three-hour search was conducted with the assistance of K9 units and an air unit, however the suspect was not located. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, in his late thirties with tattoos on his face, neck and arms, wearing dark colored clothing.
