On Friday, November 1, 2019, a deputy from the Perris Station responded to a report of a past commercial burglary in the 2000 block of North Perris Boulevard. Deputies from the Perris Station Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team assumed the investigation. During the investigation, deputies obtained video surveillance which captured the theft along with images of the suspect and vehicle used during the crime. On November 6, 2019, a vigilant deputy on patrol in the city of Perris located the vehicle in the area of Perris Boulevard x Nuevo Road. Timothy Emerson, 40-years-old and a resident of Perris, was arrested for commercial burglary and violation of Post Release Community Supervision.
