During the month of October, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, Cities of Lake Elsinore / Wildomar, along with the assistance of Social Workers Action Group (SWAG), a non-profit agency, was able to assist 6 individuals with ending their cycles of homelessness through our homeless outreach program.  

• Female 52 years agreed to be housed into transitional housing pending permanent housing.   
• Male 45 years was reunited with family.
• Male 54 years was reunited with family.
• Female 62 years agreed to be housed into transitional housing pending permanent housing.  
• Male 44 years agreed to be housed into a local temporary shelter.  
• Male 50 years agreed to be housed into a local temporary shelter.
• Male 19 years agreed to be housed into transitional housing pending permanent housing.
• 29 individuals volunteered to receive mental health services.

There were 360 engagements with homeless individuals through our outreach.  Only the above individuals received the assistance to end their cycle of homelessness.  The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station takes great pride in reaching out to individuals and assisting them with ending their cycle of homelessness.  These individuals will have the opportunity to receive additional services to assist them with permanent housing, substance abuse education, mental health services, financial education and job placement.  We wish them the best of luck as they traverse the path toward improving their lives.
