Since June 2019, the Lake Elsinore Investigations Bureau has been investigating three separate bank robberies, which occurred in the cities of Lake Elsinore and Wildomar.  The suspect would enter grocery store locations, which contained banks, and rob the location.  The latest robbery occurred on Friday, November 15, 2019 in the 29000 block of Canyon Hills in the City of Lake Elsinore.

On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, the same suspect attempted to rob another bank in the Chino Hills area of San Bernardino County.  The Lake Elsinore Investigations Bureau was able to obtain a license plate from the suspect vehicle, which returned to an address in the 23000 block of Compass Drive in Canyon Lake.
