In November 2023, investigators with the Riverside Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit arrested 32-year-old David Sanabria of Perris for sending harmful matter to minors. Sanabria was booked into jail at the Cois Byrd Detention Center. Sanabria was later able to post bail and was released with specific terms, such as not being around or having any contact with children. In April 2024, investigators with the Riverside Sheriff’s Special Victim’s Unit received information that Sanabria had been attending several churches in Riverside County, subjecting himself to being around and with children, in violation of his bail terms. A warrant was issued for Sanabria’s arrest.

On April 18th, 2024, investigators with the Special Victim’s Unit, along with members of the Perris Station Special Enforcement Team, located and arrested Sanabria at his home in Perris. Sanabria was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center, and his bail was $100,000. This investigation is currently ongoing, and no additional details are available.

Riverside Sheriff’s Special Victim’s Unit believes there may be additional victims and asks anyone with information regarding this case to contact Lead Investigator J. Oseguera at (760) 550-8716.
