On Friday, December 6, 2019, the Hawthorne Police Department stopped and detained Marchillo Hill, the husband of Vonshon Walker, and notified the Riverside County Sheriff Department’s Central Homicide Unit of the detention. Investigators responded to Hawthorne and took custody of Hill. He was taken back to Riverside County where he was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for murder. On 12/10/2019, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against Hill for the murder of his wife.

Details: 

On Wednesday, December 4th, 2019, at approximately 2:30 PM, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were called to a residence on the 1000 block of Monroe St., in the City of Lake Elsinore, in regards to an unresponsive female. Upon their arrival deputies located family members performing CPR. Medical aid was summoned and arrived within minutes. After attempting life saving measures the subject was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. During the course of the investigation it was determined the subject was the victim of a homicide. Members of the Central Homicide Unit responded to the location and assumed the investigation. 

The investigation is currently on going and there is no other information to release at this time. The name of the victim is being with held pending notification to the next of kin.
