On December 10, 2019, at 7:45 PM, the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team located Valentin Tienda, 27-years-old of Indio, inside a local business attempting to steal items. Tienda, a wanted parolee at large was taken into custody without incident. Tienda was a wanted for numerous thefts committed at local business. During the investigation stolen property was recovered, along with 2 grams of heroin and 1.5 grams of methamphetamine. Tienda was booked at the Riverside County jail in Indio.
