On December 12, 2019, at 5:20 PM, a deputy assigned to the Perris Station Special Enforcement Team conducted an occupied vehicle check near the intersection of Windstone Way, cross of Clark Street, in Mead Valley. A records check revealed the vehicle was reported stolen several weeks ago from the Mead Valley area. As a result of the investigation, Darrin Lee Gurtner, a 38-year-old transient of Mead Valley was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and violation of probation. Gurtner was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center.
