During the month of October 2019, the investigations unit at the Temecula Sheriff’s Station began a child abuse investigation after a 3-year-old child arrived at a hospital with injuries that were suspicious in nature. The preliminary information obtained at that time included the victim and her 11-year-old brother were in the foster care of 43-year-old, Yoko Issac for the past two years and the family resided on the 40000 block of Holden Circle in Temecula. Over the course of the investigation, sufficient evidence was gathered to show Isaac physically and verbally abused the siblings while in her custody. The siblings were the only children in Isaac’s care and were relocated by social services during the investigation.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at approximately 11:45 a.m., investigators served a search warrant at Isaac’s residence on Holden Circle.  Isaac was arrested at the location without incident. Investigators processed the residence and seized evidence in connection with the abuse allegations. Isaac was transported and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center for inflicting great bodily injury, torture and corporal punishment on a child.
