Details:
On December 28, 2019, at 10:30 AM, La Quinta patrol deputies responded to a grand theft in the 78800 block of Highway 111, in the city of La Quinta. The investigation revealed a male and female subject, entered a retail store and stole $1,173.00 in merchandise. The two suspects fled in 2017, silver Lexus. The La Quinta Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation and determined the get-away-vehicle was a loaner vehicle. The investigation led the team to the 78300 block of Terra Cotta Court, in the city of La Quinta. The male suspect was identified as Omar Torres, 26-years-old of La Quinta. The female suspect was identified as Gabrielle Boggs, 26-years-old of La Quinta. On December 29, 2019, Torres and Boggs were arrested booked at the Riverside County jail in Indio.
