On January 14, 2020, about 1:15 PM, deputies assigned to the Perris Stations Problem Oriented Policing Team conducted an occupied vehicle check on the 2800 block of Susan Lane. During the investigation, deputies found Juan Mora to be in possession of a loaded AR-15 style firearm, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and various rounds of live ammunition. Further investigation was conducted and deputies learned Mora was a previously convicted felon. A subsequent evaluation of Mora revealed he was also under the influence of a controlled substance.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department would like to remind citizens to report any suspicious activity occurring in the community. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Deputy Patrick Barr at 951-210-1000.
