In November 2019, Lake Elsinore Station deputies documented an accusation of Lewd and Lascivious Acts involving an adult male and a 12-year-old juvenile. Due to the sensitive nature of this incident, the investigation was forwarded to investigators assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.
The investigation revealed Guillermo Cuevas, a 25-year-old resident of Norwalk, began sexually abusing the juvenile approximately seven years ago, when the juvenile was five years old. On Friday, January 17, 2020, Investigators responded to the city of Norwalk and arrested Cuevas at his residence in the 14000 block of Wheatstone Avenue for approximately 90 counts of felony sexual assault. Cuevas was booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center and is being held on $1,000,000.00 bail.
The investigation is on-going and anyone with further information on this case is encouraged to contact Investigator Jeremy Klemp from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station by calling (951) 245-3300.
