Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted further investigation regarding a residential burglary that occurred on November 27, 2019 in the 45-700 block of Mountain View Avenue, Palm Desert. BSU identified Nicholas Scott, 35 of Palm Desert, as a suspect for his involvement in the Residential “Cat” Burglary. On January 30, 2020, BSU located and arrested Scott in the 72-800 block of Highway 111, Palm Desert for residential burglary, identity theft, and probation violation. During his arrest, Scott was in possession of stolen property belonging to the victim. Scott was transported to the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
