On January 31, 2020, about 10:00 A.M., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Problem Oriented Policing Team were conducting outreach on Bundy Canyon west of Chico Hills Road, within the city of Wildomar. Deputies observed two individuals sitting in a vehicle. Deputies contacted the driver, Zachary Dedmon, a 25-year-old resident of Wildomar, and the passenger, Sarah Bogan, a 25-year-old resident of Murrieta.

Deputies searched and located approximately one ounce (28 grams) of heroin and drug related paraphernalia. Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in the city of Murrieta for possession of heroin for sales, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, probation violations, and outstanding arrest warrants.
