On January 30, 2020 at approximately 1830 hours, members of the Murrieta / Temecula Regional Gang Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 30200 block of Sierra Madre Drive in the City of Temecula.  An occupant of the vehicle (Michael Walton) was arrested for having three outstanding felony warrants.  Walton was on Mandatory Supervision Probation.  Task Force Officers then conducted further investigation at a residence on Sierra Madre Drive, a few houses away from the traffic stop.  A parole search was eventually conducted at the residence.  As a result of the search, task force officers located five weapons, ammunition, narcotics, and body armor.  One of the rifles was deemed to be a fully automatic machine gun.  Another was determined to be an assault weapon.  Two males at the residence identified as Joshua Ruiz and Danny Young were arrested on felony charges.
