On February 6, 2020, at the direction of Sheriff Chad Bianco, deputies from the Perris Station Special Enforcement Team served an illegal marijuana cultivation search warrant in the 2200 Block of Sunnysands Drive, in the city of Perris. As a result of the search warrant, 2918 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. All plants were eradicated from the property. In addition to the marijuana plants, deputies located over 70 pounds of processed marijuana which was packaged for sale. Deputies also located 153 pounds of Marijuana “shake,” which is commonly used to make Butane Honey Oil.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is committed to improving the quality of life for all who reside in the community. “Community Policing” involves partnerships between law enforcement and community members.
