On April 11, 2019, a joint enforcement operation was conducted in the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley. The operation consisted of saturation patrol, attempt warrant services, and compliance checks on subjects on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), Mandatory Supervision, Parole, and Probation in the cities of Hemet, San Jacinto, and the unincorporated areas of Hemet.

The following agencies/teams participated in the operation:

  • 5 regions of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force:
  • - Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (Region 1)
    - Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force (Region 3)
    - Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Force (Region 4)
    - Perris/Lake Elsinore Gang Task Force (Region 6)
    - Jurupa Valley Gang Task Force (Region 7)
  • Riverside County District Attorney’s Office- Gang Impact Team (GIT)
  • Hemet Police Department- Crime Suppression Unit (CSU)
  • Hemet Police Department- ROCS Team
  • Central P.A.C. Team (Post-release Accountability & Compliance Team)
  • East P.A.C. Team
  • West P.A.C. Team
  • Riverside County Probation Department- AB109 Unit
  • Riverside County Sheriff’s Department- Hemet Station Investigation Bureau
  • San Jacinto Police Dept.- Special Enforcement Team (SET)
  • California Highway Patrol K-9 Unit
  • Riverside County District Attorney’s Office- Cannabis Regulation Task Force (CRTF)
  • Riverside Auto-Theft Interdiction Detail (RAID)

The operation consisted of 52 compliance checks on those individuals on Parole/Probation/PRCS/Mandatory Supervision and numerous enforcement stops. The following items were recovered as a result of the operation:

  • 3 semi-automatic handguns
  • An assault rifle
  • Numerous rounds of ammunition
  • An occupied stolen vehicle
  • Approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine
  • Various drug paraphernalia
  • Gang paraphernalia

During some of the compliance checks, contraband items were found but the individuals were not present. Task Force Officers will be conducting follow up investigation to arrest those individuals.

A total of 37 individuals were arrested as a result of the joint operation.
