On Saturday, February 29, 2020, at approximately 10:18 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant for an illegal indoor marijuana grow house, in the city of San Jacinto. During the service of the warrant approximately 2000 marijuana plants, at various stages of growth, were located in eight makeshift grow rooms within the residence. In addition, deputies collected 50 lamps with ballasts, 34 fans and packaging. California Edison located an illegal electrical by-pass underneath the electrical meter. Edison estimated the theft of utilities at $33,000. No subjects were located inside the residence, this investigation is on-going.
