On March 3, 2020, at 2:05 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to a Castaneda’s Mexican Food Restaurant in San Jacinto in reference to a report of an armed robbery. The investigation revealed a subject wearing a hooded sweater and face mask had brandished a firearm and robbed the cashier at gunpoint. The suspect fled from the location to a waiting vehicle and drove away.
On March 9, 2020, at 3:11 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to a Denny’s Restaurant in San Jacinto in reference to a report of an armed robbery. The investigation revealed two subjects wearing hooded sweaters and face masks had entered the restaurant. One suspect brandished a firearm, while the other brandished a knife. The two suspects robbed the employees and fled the scene.
On March 16, 2020, at 2:04 A.M., deputies from the San Jacinto Station responded to a 7-11 Convenience Store in San Jacinto in reference to a report of an armed robbery. The investigation revealed two subjects wearing hooded sweaters and face masks had entered the store. One suspect brandished a firearm, while the other brandished a knife. The two suspects robbed the cashier at gunpoint and fled from the scene to a gray Mercedes that was waiting nearby. Deputies located the vehicle in a nearby residential area contacted and detained the three occupants. Deputies observed a replica firearm in plain view under the front passenger seat, as well as a knife, facemasks and stolen property.
The occupants were identified as a 15-year-old black male juvenile, a 16-year-old Hispanic male juvenile, and 18-year-old white male adult Ocean Muller, all residents of San Jacinto. The two juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall, Muller was booked into county jail. All three have been charged with Robbery, False Imprisonment, Kidnapping, and Conspiracy.
