On Thursday, March 26th, 2020, at 12:00 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted a follow-up investigation into a shooting that occurred on November 21st, 2019 in the 1500 block of Second Street, in the City of Coachella.  During the incident the suspect used a handgun to fire multiple rounds at an occupied residence before fleeing the scene.  During their investigation, Gang Task Force Officers positively identified the shooter as documented gang member, Issac Reyes, 19 of Indio.  Today, Gang Task Force Officers located Reyes at a business located in the 2000 block of Service Road in Salton City and arrested him without incident.  Gang Task Force Officers later served a search warrant related to the investigation at a residence in the 2800 block of Leto Avenue, in Salton City where they located evidence related to the shooting.  Reyes was charged with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Committing a Felony While on Bail.  Reyes was booked at the Indio Jail.
