On 03/26/2020, about 2:55 PM, deputies assigned to the Moreno Valley Problem Oriented Policing Team responded to the area of Moreno Beach Dr. x Locust Ave., city of Moreno Valley, regarding subjects shooting rifles on the side of the road. Deputies arrived and learned the subjects shooting in the area fled just prior to their arrival in a Black truck. Deputies searched the area and located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. During a search of the vehicle, two rifles as well as narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, Alfred Gonzales, is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing any firearm. Additionally, two juveniles were inside the vehicle with Gonzales and present with him when the weapons were being fired. Gonzales was arrested and booked at Robert Presley Detention Center. The two juveniles were released to their parents.
