Details:
On Monday, March 30, 2020, deputies from the Perris Station responded to the 26000 block of Ritter Avenue in Homeland to investigate a report of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they located one adult male deceased at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. In addition, two females were also found to have been shot inside of a vehicle. The two females were transported to a local hospital where they are expected to survive their wounds. Investigators from the Perris Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded and have assumed the investigation. The suspect(s) fled prior to deputies arrival and are still outstanding. Identification of the victims is being withheld until next of kin identification can be made to the deceased males family.
