The Ben Clark Training Center's Firearms Unit is responsible for training all sworn personnel within the Riverside County Sheriff's Department in the use of all Department approved firearms. All firearms instructors are Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified instructors in various handguns, shotguns and rifles, and most courses taught carry POST certification.
