On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, about 2:11 A.M., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jurupa Valley Station, responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision near the intersection of Norco Hills Road and Valley Drive, in the city of Norco. Upon arrival, deputies located a male adult, who had been ejected from the vehicle. The driver had suffered life-threatening injuries and was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics and Cal Fire personnel. He was determined to be the sole occupant.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation. Preliminary investigation indicated the driver was traveling eastbound on Norco Hills Road and collided into a brick column. Norco Hills Road and Valley Drive were closed for the duration of the investigation.

The identities of the involved party will not be released pending further investigation and the notification to the next of kin. At this time, it remains unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision.
