Details:

On January 19, 2024, at 09:09 p.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a major-injury traffic collision on Wineville Avenue and Harvest Villages Way, Jurupa Valley. Deputies located a vehicle versus motorcycle collision and pronounced the driver of the motorcycle deceased at the scene.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded and assumed the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs played a role in this incident. The victim’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The collision investigation required the temporary closure of Wineville Avenue, between Puerta Place to Boca Place, in order to process the scene and collect evidence.
